Fire breaks out in Congress MLA’s Scorpio:Vehicle hits school boundary while saving cow; MLA, driver and gunman escape unharmed

A major accident occurred on National Highway-34 in Seoni district on Thursday morning at 7 AM. The Scorpio vehicle of Congress MLA Yogendra Singh Baba from Lakhnadon went out of control while trying to save a cow and collided with the boundary wall of a school on the roadside.

The vehicle caught fire after the collision. However, the MLA, his gunman, and the driver managed to get out in time, preventing any loss of life. The accident occurred near Banjari village. The MLA was going from Jabalpur to Ghurwada village. His gunman Raju Dhurve and driver Anu were also with him.

All three sustained minor injuries

According to eyewitnesses, after the collision, smoke started emanating from the front of the vehicle. Soon after, it caught fire. However, the MLA, gunman, and driver in the vehicle promptly exited, saving their lives. All three sustained minor injuries in the accident.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Dhooma police arrived at the scene. They assessed the situation. Local residents also attempted to extinguish the fire. Police removed the damaged vehicle from the road and restored traffic.
