A tiger and a tigress were seen fighting over prey in Zone-4 of the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The tiger initially tried to protect its kill, leading to a tug-of-war between the two big cats that continued for some time. The tigress later turned aggressive, forcing the tiger to retreat.
The tigress eventually walked away with the prey after taking control of it from the tiger. The entire incident, which took place on May 26, was captured on camera by tourists during a safari.

Riddhi is around 7-years-old
The Forest Department has identified tigress Riddhi as T-124 in Ranthambore National Park. Riddhi is around seven years old and was born between October and November 2018.
She is the daughter of famous tigress Arrowhead (T-84) and mainly roams in Zones 3 and 4 of Ranthambore. Tigress Riddhi has become a mother twice so far. Both of her cubs are now around three years old.
