Firing at Kashi Vishwanath Temple:PAC jawan’s carbine falls, two shots accidentally fired; 3 injured

On Saturday morning at 7:30 AM, a carbine fell from the hand of a PAC jawan at the gate of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Following this, two rounds were fired from the carbine. Fortunately, the bullets directly hit the road. Subsequently, gravel and small stones bounced up and hit three people.

Police personnel present at the scene took all three to the divisional hospital. According to doctors, everyone’s condition is currently out of danger. The injured have been identified as Nikki Gupta, Rambabu, and Vikas Yadav.

All three injured are flower and garland vendors who operate outside the temple. According to doctors, they are in a stable condition and out of danger. They sustained injuries after being hit by stone fragments dislodged by the bullets. The incident occurred at VIP Gate No. 4 of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

The sudden gunfire in the middle of the crowd triggered panic, with people scrambling for safety. For a few moments, no one could understand what had happened. On hearing the shots, security personnel immediately rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. They informed people that the rounds had been fired accidentally and assured them that the situation was under control.
