A 38-year-old man who repeatedly raped his minor sister for about one-and-a-half years in Fatehpur was sent to jail by the police on Thursday evening around 4 pm. While being taken to jail, the accused said, “I used to see my deceased wife in my younger sister, which is why I raped her.”
According to the police, the accused had beaten his wife to death about three years ago for refusing to consume drugs. After that, he went to jail. The rape-accused was released from jail in June 2024 and returned home. Since then, he raped his 16-year-old biological sister.
The sister complained to her family members many times, but no one believed her. After this, with the help of her friends, the victim made a video of the accused committing the rape and showed it to her family. After watching the video, the family was stunned.
The case is from a village in the Thariyaon police station area, 28 km away from the district headquarters. Based on the complaint filed by the victim’s other brother’s wife, the police registered an FIR on Wednesday under several serious sections, including the POCSO Act.

According to information received from family members, the victim’s family includes her mother, middle brother, and his wife. Her father died seven years ago due to illness. The victim is currently studying in high school, while the accused worked as a laborer.

A 16-year-old sister has accused her 38-year-old biological brother of rape. Video evidence has also been provided. Medical examination has confirmed the rape. A case has been registered under the POCSO Act and other sections, and the accused has been sent to jail.
