Eight people, including 3 children, were killed and 3 injured in a collision between a truck and a Bolero in Maharashtra’s Bhandara district on Friday. According to the police, the accident happened around 4 am near Pimpalgaon road on Nagpur-Raipur National Highway.
Everyone was going from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Nagpur via National Highway-53. The help of two JCBs had to be taken to rescue the pickup stuck in the truck. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started relief work.

After the accident, nearby people took out the injured and sent them to the hospital.

The Bolero was completely damaged after the accident. Information about how many people were traveling in it has not been revealed yet.

On the spot, the police took out the Bolero trapped in the truck with the help of a crane and JCB.

Police and local people took the injured to the hospital by ambulance.
10 September: 6 killed in van-truck collision
Earlier on Thursday, there was a collision between a van and a truck on Nanded-Bhokar Road in Nanded district. 6 people were killed in the accident, while 8 people were seriously injured.
According to the police, the accident happened near Sitakhandi Ghat at around 7 pm. The Tata Magic van was going from Nanded towards Bhokar when it collided heavily with a truck coming from the front.
The collision was so strong that the van was badly damaged. After the accident, local people reached the spot and took out the injured trapped in the van. All the injured were admitted to nearby hospitals for treatment.
