Know what the dancer said;

I will not sit at home accepting defeat

The dancer said, “Hathras Police has released a video claiming that a person has been arrested, but that individual is linked to the event’s organising committee. I have no dispute with any member of the committee, nor do I hold them responsible for the incident.

If proper action is not taken at the police station level, I will write to the Home Minister. If required, I will also approach the National Commission for Women and other concerned authorities with complaints. I am not prepared to accept defeat and remain silent at home.”

Action will be taken against those making videos against

He said that after this controversy, there has been a rapid increase in the number of social media followers. Some people are calling it a publicity stunt, but such things don’t matter to me.

Some people are spreading rumors by making wrong videos and reels against me. I will take legal action against them, too.

Have to think even before leaving home

The dancer further said, “I have been under a lot of stress since this incident. The videos being made against me on social media are also increasing my mental pressure.

I am a stage artist, but that doesn’t mean anyone can come on stage and behave indecently or try to molest. This incident has affected my confidence, and many times I have to think even before stepping out of the house.”

Won’t attend programs if not given respect

She said that she has several live shows scheduled in Rajasthan and Haryana. She also has a program in Rajasthan on June 14. The dancer said, “People who like my programs will keep inviting me.

But if someone thinks that my respect can be compromised because I am an artist, then I am not willing to attend such programs. Respect comes first for me. Where I don’t get respect, I won’t go there.”

Artists should come forward and raise their voice

The dancer said that such incidents have happened with many stage artists before as well. Artists should openly raise their voice in such cases and fight for their respect.

Haryanvi actress Pooja Hudda has called and extended her support. Apart from this, she is receiving cooperation and support from many other people.
