There is a plan to build a big parking lot below Digha Golambar in Patna and near Atal Path. Here, a vending zone will be built on about 1.93 acres of land, with organized space for shopkeepers. This project will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, infrastructure will be constructed and shopkeepers will be temporarily shifted here.
The municipal corporation has set a deadline of May 15 to complete the project. During this time, about 250 shopkeepers will be provided with accommodation for. The place for them will be decided by laying PCC road and paver block. A budget of Rs 59 lakh has been allocated separately for this.
The vending zone will be developed as an entertainment center in the future. There are plans to build a Kids Zone, Entertainment Zone and Amphitheatre. Apart from this, work is being carried forward rapidly to create selfie points.
Facilities like parking, toilets, drinking water, and high mast lights are available in the new vending zone
