44 Degree Temperature: Ahmedabad becomes a fireball: Civil Hospital on high alert! Children and the elderly should be especially careful!

The sun is currently raining fireballs in the city. Due to the scorching heat and severe effects of the heatwave, public life has been disrupted. The temperature has crossed 44 degrees, due to which the risk of heatstroke and heatstroke has increased manifold.

Increasing risk of heatwave and doctors’ warning

In view of the increasing heat in the city, medical experts have appealed to take special precautions. One should avoid leaving the house without work during the period from 12 noon to 4 pm. It is very important to keep the body temperature under control to avoid heatstroke. According to doctors, to keep the body hydrated in the heat, one should drink plenty of water, consume buttermilk, coconut water or ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution). It is imperative to cover the head with white or light-colored cotton clothes while going out.

Civil Hospital system on alert mode

Keeping in mind the heat wave, the Civil Hospital system of Ahmedabad has come into full alert mode. Keeping in mind the increasing cases of heatstroke, a special ward has been prepared in the hospital. More than 25 beds have been arranged in this special ward, where facilities are available for immediate treatment of serious patients.
