Another plane has received bomb and hijacking threats. An IndiGo flight from Kuwait to Delhi received a bomb threat. The plane was diverted to Ahmedabad and made an emergency landing after receiving a bomb threat. Remarkably, the threat was received through a note written on a piece of tissue paper. The note threatened to hijack and bomb the plane.

Threats were found on tissue paper

A passenger on the IndiGo flight found a piece of tissue paper containing threats to hijack and bomb the flight. The pilot informed the Air Traffic Control (ATC) and diverted the plane towards Ahmedabad.

Security forces and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) rushed to the scene as soon as the plane landed in Ahmedabad. The 180 passengers on board were safely disembarked and their luggage was scrutinized.

According to airport authorities, no suspicious items were recovered from the passengers and the plane. The plane will be allowed to fly back to Delhi only after complete inspection and clearance, the authorities said.

Continuous threats
