Bollywood actress Preity Zinta visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Saturday night to pay her respects. She bowed down in the holy shrine and offered prayers. During this time, devotees showed great enthusiasm to catch a glimpse of Preity Zinta. Many people also took pictures with her.
After paying her respects at Gurdwara Sahib, Preity Zinta performed ‘seva’ (selfless service) in the langar hall. She distributed langar (community meal) to the congregation. Speaking to the media, Preity Zinta said, “Baba Ji called, he invited, so we came.”
She stated that her Punjab Kings cricket team has an important match on May 11, and she has come to pray for the team’s victory. She expressed confidence that with the grace of Waheguru Ji, her team will perform brilliantly, strive to win all matches, and reach the playoffs.
During this, mentioning the team captain Shreyas Iyer, she said that the people of Punjab lovingly call him Sarpanch, which is a matter of pride for the team. Preity Zinta thanked the youth and cricket lovers of Punjab, saying that the team is receiving immense love and support from the people. She said that this love boosts the morale of the players and is the team’s biggest strength.
