Medical report finds accused impotent in Delhi rape & murder:Told police he attempted assault but failed; allegedly killed girl affterwards

A new claim has been made in the rape and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Delhi. According to police sources, who cited a medical report proving him impotent, claimed that the accused cab driver was suffering from erectile dysfunction.

The accused told the police during interrogation that he tried to rape the girl in the back seat of the car. But due to erectile dysfunction, he was unable to do so.

The accused also confessed that he had threatened the girl with facing serious consequences if she made noise and then took her to a deserted jungle area near the Faridabad-Gurugram border, where he murdered her and hid the body under a pile of stones.

The accused drove the girl around in the car for 12 km

The victim’s family of five was sleeping in a row on the footpath, with the girl sleeping beside her parents. Police said that the accused, Bashu Kumar Singh, had parked his car right next to them, and its rear door was open.

He picked up the girl in his lap and laid her on the back seat of the car. As soon as the car started moving, the girl woke up and screamed, calling for her father.

Her screams soon woke up the family of the girl. Police said that her father ran after the car, throwing sticks at it in an attempt to stop it, but the accused drove the car away.

The girl’s father only remembered that the car’s number plate was yellow, indicating it was a commercial vehicle. The accused took the child approximately 10 to 12 kms towards Mandi Road near Fatehpur Beri.

Police stated that after disposing of the body, the accused returned to his rented house in Gurugram, changed clothes, and went back to work as a cab driver. Later, the police reviewed CCTV footage from nearby shops, traced the car’s route, and located and arrested the accused within a few hours.

On June 24, after apprehending the accused, the police were taking him to recreate the crime scene. Police claim he tried to escape. To stop him, he was shot in the leg. He is currently admitted to the hospital.
