Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Latent 2’ featured Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh as guests in its first episode. During the episode, Samay Raina and Alia Bhatt playfully taunted and roasted each other.
Welcoming Alia Bhatt to the show, Samay Raina said that he couldn’t believe Alia had come as a guest on the first episode of the show.
During this, Alia laughed and said, “I’m regretting it a little now.”
Samay taunted the film ‘Jigra’
To this, Samay Raina sarcastically remarked, “I also regretted watching ‘Jigra’.” Hearing Samay’s comment, Alia and Sharvari burst into laughter.
However, Alia also quickly responded with a smile, “At least you watched the film.”
After this, Samay said, “I’m feeling a little nervous sitting next to you, because I’m a huge fan of your husband.”
Joked by comparing Cannes and Latent
Samay also said, Alia ji, you are such a big actress. Your films have earned ₹5,000-6,000 crore . You have so many Filmfare Awards, a National Award, a Best Actress Award. Then why have you come here? What was the need to come to ‘Latent’? Where is Cannes, where is Latent, and here the cameras are on you.”
Everyone started laughing at this.
Then, replying, Alia said, “No, no, Samay, to be honest, we can all say with full confidence that we are all very grateful to Kapil Sharma for making us laugh.”
Then Samay said, “Wow! Alia ji, you became funny here. What happened with Zakir Bhai?”

Sharvari Wagh also arrived as a guest on the show. Samay Raina jokingly refused to recognise her. Sharvari was asked if she had seen the episodes of Latent, to which the actress said, I have seen the show’s videos on news channels.
Last year, Samay Raina was embroiled in controversies regarding ‘India’s Got Latent’. A case was filed against him regarding the show, and the matter reached court.
