American East Coast University acknowledges Faruk Patel’s efforts in the field of renewable energy.
Surat: Faruk Gulam Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of KP Group, a leading player in solar and wind power, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate by the American East Coast University for his work in the field of renewable energy.
Throughout his 28-year career in renewable energy and infrastructure development, Mr Patel has received several accolades for innovation, talent and creative management.
The honorary doctorate was conferred on Mr Patel at a programme at Sayaji Hotel in Vadodara on Sunday (June 11). Pavan Agrawal, the American East Coast University’s India representative, appraised Mr Patel’s accomplishments in innovation, talent and creative management and conducted his interview at KP House. The application for conferring the honorary doctorate was forwarded to the University’s headquarters in New York following scrutiny of the requisite documents. The honorary doctorate was conferred on Mr Patel after the University’s approval.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive this prestigious honorary doctorate. It is a recognition of not just mine, but the collective efforts of the team of KP Group and our commitment to driving innovation and sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector. This recognition will serve as an inspiration for us to continue our journey towards a greener and more sustainable future. I am grateful to the American East Coast University for this honour,” Mr Patel said on the occasion.
It is worth noting that the honorary doctorate marks the continuation of the prestigious awards and honours Mr Patel has received over the years. He has previously received awards such as the Legend of Surat 2018, Business Icon 2018, and The Leaders and Rotary Lamhe Awards.
